Common questions, clearly answered.

We believe in total transparency. If you can't find the answer to your question here, you can always reach out to our support team.

Clinical Care

How the medical process works.

Do I need an existing prescription?

No. Your Livozo intake serves as a comprehensive medical consultation. If approved, a licensed clinician in your state will write the prescription for you.

Who are the clinicians?

All clinical decisions are made by US-licensed, board-certified physicians and nurse practitioners who operate independently from the Livozo technology platform.

Do I have to do a video call?

In most states, the consultation is handled asynchronously via your intake form and secure messaging. However, some states require a brief synchronous video or phone call. If required, your clinician will schedule it with you.

What if I experience side effects?

You can message your clinical team 24/7 through the patient portal. They can adjust your dose, prescribe anti-nausea medication, or pause your treatment entirely if necessary.

Billing & Insurance

Paying for your program.

Do you accept insurance?

Our compounded medication programs are strictly cash-pay to avoid the delays of prior authorizations. However, we do accept HSA/FSA cards. If you want a brand-name medication (like Wegovy®), we can help route the prescription to your local pharmacy for your insurance to cover.

Are there hidden fees?

No. Your monthly subscription price covers the clinician review, the medication, the supplies, ongoing messaging, and expedited shipping. There are no surprise upcharges as your dose increases.

How do I cancel?

You can cancel your subscription at any time directly from your Livozo account dashboard. Simply log in and click "Manage Subscription." We do not force you to call customer service to cancel.

What if I am denied treatment?

If the reviewing clinician determines that the program is not medically appropriate for you, any charges placed during intake are immediately refunded in full.

Shipping & Pharmacy

Getting your medication.

Where does the medication come from?

We partner exclusively with US-based, fully accredited 503A compounding pharmacies and established retail pharmacies. We do not source medication from overseas.

How is it shipped?

Medications are shipped in discreet packaging. For medications that require refrigeration, they are shipped in insulated thermal mailers with ice packs via expedited 2-day delivery.

Do I need to be home to sign for it?

No, a signature is generally not required upon delivery. However, we strongly recommend retrieving refrigerated packages as soon as they are delivered to maintain temperature control.

What states do you ship to?

We are actively expanding our network. During the intake process, you will be prompted to enter your zip code to immediately verify if we operate and ship to your state.
